• Each step must be a real word with the same number of letters.
• Change exactly one letter. Keep every other letter in the same position.
• You can’t use the same word twice in one ladder.
• Any valid route to the target wins. You don’t have to find the shortest one.
• If a word can’t be checked because you’re offline, reconnect and submit it again.
